Another tax refund scam is now doing the rounds via e-mail.

The e-mail looks like it comes from HM Revenue and Customs and informs you that you are eligible to receive a tax refund; it then directs you to a fill in a form if you wish to claim your money.  The e-mail comes from either 'HM Premier Services' or 'HM Revenue & Customs', and in an attempt to get members of the public to reveal personal information in exchange for a bogus repayment you are urged to contact them via an 'admin' e-mail address.

Under no circumstances should you access this form and enter any personal details. H M Revenue & Customs have confirmed that they would never communicate with you via email and ask for you to fill in any personal details - and if you are not aware of a refund being due, it is probably correct that you are not!

A new law was introduced on the 1st January this year for companies within the UK but it appears the legislation was rushed through during the festive period and could easily be overlooked resulting a fine of up to £1,000.

UK companies are being urged to update the information shown on their web sites, email footers and other electronic documents or risk facing a fine.

The new legislation requires companies and limited liability partnerships to list its company/LLP name, registered number and registered office address on your website and any other electronic documents you send out, in a similar way to how these details are shown on printed letterheads.

A4G client manager Mark Goodfellow is only two matches from playing at the new Wembley. Mark who plays for semi-professional side Welling FC turns out for them this Sunday in their FA Trophy Quarter-Final. 

With opponents Grays and five of the other teams left in the competition having a team of full-time professionals, the task of reaching the semi-final let alone the final will be tough but hopefully home advantage and the incentive of playing in the first cup final at Wembley will spur them on to win.
